What happens when a button pops off? Do you throw away the garment? Perhaps use a safety pin? Take the garment to a tailor? Call grandma? Learn to sew on a missing button! Sewing is a basic skill that develops confidence, and builds independence. Developing basic sewing skills is also helpful to the environment, so don't throw away that garment with the missing button; sew the button back on the shirt or skirt or pants!
