Description
Class Experience
In this class I will show students step by step how to sew their own scrunchie. Students may choose to sew by hand or use a sewing machine. I encourage students to ask questions throughout class and will help them through any problems they encounter. If you student is using a sewing machine, they should be able to thread the machine and sew a straight stitch. If you student is hand sewing, they should be able to thread a needle and tie a knot. I have taught many learners how to sew both in person and virtually.
At least a 6”x24” piece of fabric 1/8” wide elastic (5 inches) Scissors Needle and thread (or sewing machine and thread)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students can choose a sewing machine or hand sewing. With both methods, students will be using scissors and sewing needles.
