Beginner series sewing classes. Sewing project for beginners and novice sewers.
Class experience
Students will learn the basic functions of a sewing machine and how to complete a sewing project. The sewing project for this course will be a reading pillow. It features a front pocket to store books, writing tools, or even snacks! The course details are as follows: Week 1 •Learn the important parts of the sewing machine •How to thread a needle or use the needle threader •How to wind a bobbin •How to sew with a zigzag stitch and straight stitch Week 2 •How to sew using seam allowance...
Homework Offered
Students are required to study the course materials and be prepared for each session. Preparedness includes: completing worksheets, preparing fabric by cutting out patterns. Becoming familiar with the sewing machine and course materials, will help the child succeed in this class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
