Sew much Fun: Sewing Club In this ongoing class, we will learn basic sewing machine techniques, use different features of a sewing machine, and create fun weekly projects. Students will become familiar and comfortable with their sewing machine. Students will learn how to add a zipper, sew with elastic, sew a straight line, fix mistakes, and sew from a pattern. Students will learn sewing basics, how to use a sewing machine, and create fun weekly projects.
Students will need to have and use their own sewing machine. Parent may need to be nearby if the learner is a complete beginner.
If a project is not completed during class students can work on it outside of class.
Materials needed: Sewing basics: Sewing Machine Thread Scissors Fabric (Fat quarters will work great) Zippers (when necessary) Elastic (When necessary- listed in description)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
