We will learn basic hand sewing skills while we make cute and fun projects! We will learn how to cut the felt, thread a needle, tie a knot, separate embroidery floss, use pins, and add detail work. Students will be encouraged to be creative with their projects! We will work together during our online class to make the project of the month. Some projects may take multiple weeks as each project will go at the students pace. Some classes may have multiple projects going on at once. We will always have a project of the week for any new learners that joins us! Learners will be able to freely ask questions about their project and receive guided instruction. Learners can freely chat as we have fun sewing together! There is no pre-requisite experience. Student will need to purchase required materials for class prior to our class Since instruction will occur at each learners pace, please contact instructor before enrolling to find out the specific project we will be working on. Learning Goals
Students will gain basic hand sewing skills. Sewing is a life skill that can help you in your daily life. Not only do our projects build creative skills, but may help learners be able to fix clothing and household items in the future.

Required supplies for class: Needle with a medium sized eye Sharp scissors able to cut fabric 2 sewing pins A pencil Teacher print-off of pattern (will be posted in the classroom on Mondays) Felt (colors dependent on project) Embroidery Floss (colors dependent on project) Helpful to have: pincushion, box to store supplies in between classes
