What will be taught? - Students will learn about each of the 7 continents. Information pertaining to each continent's hemisphere location, population, primary languages, natural resources and trades. Topics - Population Size - Historical Facts - Primary Languages - Natural Resources - Trades - Climate How is your class structured? - This class will be structured by having me as the teacher as the main facilitator as the students are lectured. However, at the beginning of class I will allow an open discussion amongst the students to share any background knowledge they have about any of the 7 continents. As I lecture and present the information, each continent will be discussed in alphabetical order. How will students interact with you? - Students will be able to interact with myself and their peers through open discussion, comments, questions and an assessment at the conclusion of the lesson. Is prior knowledge needed? - No. No prior knowledge is needed.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about each of the 7 continents of the earth and the significant facts for each. The significant facts including population, map location, land size, climate, trades, natural resources, primary languages and historical information.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
