This class will introduce the students to amazing wonders that are around our world! This class will specifically look at the famous seven wonders of the world. These are amazing wonders and will hopefully spark interest to see more! The class will cover the following topics: 1. The seven wonders. 2. Where they are on a map. 3. What country they are located in. 4. The history of them and why they are there. This course will be a PowerPoint presentation that will contain a lot of pictures. Students will have the opportunity to think critically about each monument and freely express their opinion on it. This class will be more of a discussion-based class but if your student just wants to listen too that is fine! I hope I get to see you soon!
Learning Goals
Students will have a grasp of where these seven wonders are and how they came to be. They will also learn what is their purpose today.
