Description
Class Experience
With a undergraduate degree in education and six years of university experience -- two years in graduate school -- I have learned a lot about learning! I will share evidence-based information with the students in way that will make sense to them. I also share study tips related to what works for me personally.
Students will be given a short worksheet to fill out between the first two classes that will help them to identify their individual learning style. This worksheet should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.
A one-page homework handout will be provided. Students may wish to print this or complete it online.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students are not assessed by the teacher during this course. They will assess their learning preferences independently through a short worksheet and class activities.
2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
