Class Experience

Early literacy is all about listening and speaking and rhyming is a very important early reading skill. In this class, students will practice rhyming through Sesame Street books, videos and pictures. We will read "Abby Cadabby's Rhyme Time" and students will be given many opportunities to share and answer questions as we read. The students will have the opportunity to practice what they have learned through teacher created (and of course Sesame Street Themed) activities on a slide presentation.

Learning Goals

-Students will learn to identify words that rhyme.
-Students will practice their speaking and listening skills.
