Assessment
Students will be able to create sentences using the correct forms of SER vs ESTAR in present tense.

Class Experience

Students will spend their time engaged in the following activities:
Day 1 -Reviewing pronouns in Spanish and conjugation of SER and ESTAR in present tense.
           -Reviewing nouns in Spanish to use in conjunction with the use of the verb SER and ESTAR
Day 2 -Review the rules for using SER
           -Identifying situations and conditions to use the verb SER and practicing in class
Day 3 -Review the rules for using ESTAR
           -Identifying situations and conditions to use the verb ESTAR and practicing in class
Day 4 -Practicing the use of SER and ESTAR in class to receive immediate feedback

At the end of this class, students will feel more confident in correctly using the verbs SER and ESTAR in the present tense. 
Depending on the class level, the past tense of these verbs will be incorporated. Otherwise, we will stay in the present tense.
