Class Experience

Sentences are the building blocks for all other writing. 
In my paragraph classes, I see students that need help developing strategies for writing more complex, detailed sentences.

This class is for beginning sentence writers as well as emerging writers who want to learn how to improve their sentence writing and make it more interesting.

Each week will include a review of the parts of a sentence (subject/verb), capitalization, and punctuation.

This class is for beginning sentence writers as well as emerging writers who want to learn how to stretch their sentence writing and make it more interesting.

I believe giving students interesting topics to write about allows them to have fun writing! I believe writing gets better and easier with practice, practice, practice! I have a journalism degree and have been teaching writing and grammar for 16+ years in my homeschool and online.

Please have student bring either paper/pencil OR a dry erase board and markers to class so they can participate.

Students are welcome to send me their final sentences for feedback.
