Class Experience

In **“Sensory Toy Creations: Craft Your Own Fun!”**, students will explore how to design and create their very own sensory toys using simple, easy-to-find materials. We'll cover a range of fun, tactile creations, such as stress balls, sensory bottles, squishy fidgets, and other sensory-rich objects that help with focus and relaxation. Each week, we’ll introduce a new toy concept, discussing the different textures, colors, and sensory effects students can incorporate into their creations, encouraging both creativity and sensory exploration.

The class is structured as an interactive, step-by-step workshop where students can follow along at their own pace. We’ll begin each session with a short introduction to the materials and project for the day, then dive into the crafting process together. I'll provide clear, visual instructions through live demonstrations, and students will be encouraged to ask questions or share ideas as they work. We’ll also have time to discuss how each sensory toy might be useful in different scenarios—whether for relaxation, stress relief, or as a focus tool.

My teaching style is hands-on, supportive, and flexible. I prioritize creating a relaxed and inclusive environment where all students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring at their own speed. Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me directly through crafting discussions, Q&A sessions, and personalized guidance. There are no formal lectures, but we will occasionally use slides or short video clips to introduce new ideas or spark creativity. This class is all about making, sharing, and discovering the fun of sensory play together!
