Class experience
In this 4 day camp students will have fun making 4 summer sensory crafts! Day 1: Making Kinetic Sand Day 2: Pudding Slime Day 3: Marshmallow Play Doh Day 4: Homemade Silly Putty During this Camp each student will greet everyone verbally and we will either sing a song before we begin. When it is time to make the craft students will follow each step along with the teacher. I like to interact with the students and ask questions during discussions. Day 1: Making Kinetic Sand 1 cup colored play sand or sand box sand 3 Tbsp Cornstarch 2 Tbsp Dish Soap 1 Tbsp Water Day 2: Pudding Slime 1/4 cup instant pudding mix 1 cup corn starch 1/3 cup warm water Bowl Day 3: Marshmallow Play Doh Mini Marshmallows Coconut Oil (or vegetable oil) Cornstarch Food Coloring Large Mixing Bowel Spoon Day 4: Homemade Silly Putty Cornstarch Dish Liquid Mixing bowl Spoon
This will be 4 days full of fun sensory crafts. Parental guidance will be needed every day to help students use materials such as the microwave and help them measure materials in a measuring cup. During this camp we will also be making crafts using materials such as soap, and sand as well as food items such as marshmallows, pudding mix, vegetable oil/ coconut oil, corn starch, etc. Please be aware incase you child is allergic to any of these materials. Also, not all of these crafts are edible. Please be aware of materials used in each craft and don’t let your child eat the crafts that are not edible.
