Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Learners will embark on a wonderful journey though the world of children's literature. They may bring a reading buddy to class. Each class will feature a different book from a beloved author, such as Patricia Polacco, Mo Willems, and Tomie dePaola. I will perform a dramatic reading that engages children and captures their attention. Learners will improve their vocabulary and reading comprehension through asking and answering questions. Learners will explore the world through books and conversation. During and after the reading, learners may engage in a STEAM project where they use science, technology, engineering, art, or mathematics to better connect with the story.

*These books are planned, but I am open to following the interest of the learners.*
