--First time taking class with me?
Try out one of my one-time dance party classes! I am always creating fun, niche dance party classes that inspire young learner's imaginations. My most popular class is my Rainbow Dance Party!
--Looking for an ongoing class for your preschooler?
Ongoing classes are lovely because we get to see the same faces every week. I currently offer two ongoing classes:
1: Animal Moves Around the World: A unique blend of science and dance. Each week we travel to a different place and meet the animals that live there. This is a great class for general movement skills, exercise, and creative play!
2: Ballet Basics + Craft: This class covers the basics of ballet in a fun and playful way. Each class has a new theme and includes new dance activities. Class ends with a simple craft. This is a great class for encouraging creativity, building confidence, and gaining coordination!
--Dance Technique for 6+?
My technique classes are designed to impart skills that can be applied to ALL styles of movement and dance. Classes draw on my background in ballet and contemporary to build strength, flexibility, and coordination in learners.

ABOUT ME:
I specialize in teaching multi-disciplinary movement classes for young learners! My classes are a unique blend of dance, art, mindfulness, and pre-literacy skill development. I believe that PLAY is the best way to learn, and I deeply enjoy guiding young children as they uncover their unique creativity and skills.
After spending my early years training rigorously in ballet, jazz, and tap, I attended UC Berkeley, earning a B.A. in English and Spanish Literature (Comparative Literature). While in the San Francisco Bay Area, I danced professionally in projects and local companies. As a young adult I furthered my dance training at prestigious contemporary dance institutions and festivals such as LINES Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, b12 Festival in Berlin, Impulstanz in Vienna, and the Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance in Tel Aviv.
My dance teaching experience is extensive, having taught a variety of styles, levels and ages at studios around the Bay Area and Central California including Presidio Dance Theater, Peninsula Ballet Theater, Main Street Dance Studio, and Class Act Dance Studio. Early on, I found my niche as an early childhood dance teacher. I have since pursued various avenues to bolster my expertise with the 0-6 population. I worked for 2 years as a bilingual Early Intervention Teacher with 0-3 year olds, completed 18 units of Early Childhood Education classes including 50 hours of preschool observation, and am certified in the INTELLIDANCE® early childhood dance teaching method. Most recently, I was the program coordinator for the Children's Program at Class Act Dance for 2 years, growing the program successfully.
When I am not guiding young learners on fun dance adventures, I am diving into the world of music-making, currently working on my first album of original songs! I am an avid hiker and cat lover!
