Sensational Sight Words: Preschool & Kindergarten

Hello and welcome to Outschool! My name is Miss Johnni and I’m excited to offer “Sensational Sight Words” as an ongoing course. Learners in ongoing classes are able to join and leave at any time. This course is a weekly subscription that will meet 1 day a week for 25 minutes per day via zoom live classes. Outschool will charge you weekly for this class until you stop the subscription.

Each week we will learn a new set of sight words while exploring phonics via letter sounds and blends. This class is intended to be full-out fun and interactive!!

Here are examples of some of the sight words students will learn: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make me, my, not, one, play, red, run, said, see, the, three, to, two, up, we, where, yellow, you, of, be, out, he, she, with, all, that, this, yes, no, they, are.

Students will be introduced to a minimum of 2 new sight words every week.  

Sight Words for March:
A, AND, GO, YOU, HE, SHE, ME, OR, I, THE

Sight Words for April:
THIS, THAT, IS, IN, IT, UP, WE, WHERE



Weekly printables will be provided as extra resources and activities you can do while in class with the teacher. Additional resources will be made available each week to help reinforce the lessons. 

I have an education degree for K-8th grade. I have experience teaching preschool-age children through a Mother's Day Out program where I eventually became the director of the program. I enjoy teaching children and engaging with them. See you in the classroom!
