In this class, students will learn how to write sentences using correct capitalization, organization, punctuation, and spelling (COPS strategy), which leads to proficiency in writing.
Class experience
Students will be taught the COPS acronym for writing sentences in an effective manner. Topics that will be covered include capitalization, organization of sentences, punctuation rules, and spelling. The class will be taught in a student-centered environment, using slides to display information clearly, we will review examples and non-examples of sentences, and students will participate in class discussions with the teacher and other classmates.
