Level 2 - Lessons 1 - 4
Students will learn beginner strumming patterns. Students will continue building strength in the left-hand fingers. They will review and learn new chords (C, Am, F, G). They will review 2 songs and learn 2 songs (Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Mary Had A Little Lamb, You Are My Sunshine and This Little Light of Mine).

Level 3 - Lessons 5 - 10
The class begins with warmups and exercises. We will continue practicing chords (Am, G, F, C) and put them into songs. Students will learn a new chord (C7). Students will continue practicing beginner strumming patterns focusing on feeling the groove. Students will review songs from Levels 1 and 2 (Row Row Row Your Boat, Mary had a Little Lamb, You Are My Sunshine and This Little Light of Mine). Students will learn new songs (Itsy Bitsy Spider and London Bridge).

Students will be encouraged (not required) to perform for the class at lessons 5 and 10.

Parents - I recommend you sit next to your child (off-camera) and assist them with posture and finger placement.
Please make sure to help your child tune their ukulele before each class. There are many great tuning apps available. If you need assistance, please let me know and I would be happy to meet before class to assist with tuning. I recommend that students sit on a chair for the lesson.

At this level, students should practice 5 - 10 minutes daily to ensure progress.
Slideshows will become available to the students after class to use for practicing at home.

Hello, I'm Siobhan! A versatile and passionate human interested in continuing to learn and grow throughout life's journey. I spent nine years living in Thailand working as a professional musician and private music teacher. For five of those years, I ran my own business, a music school, where I gained valuable experience and a versatile skill set. Just before the pandemic, I was traveling and developing new skills including cooking gourmet vegetarian food, managing a kitchen, managing social media pages, video editing as well as completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. During the pandemic, I began creating music classes that are specifically designed to be delivered online. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, travel, and practicing music.
