4+ hours per week. There will be some in-class reading, but students will need to be able to read each novel in its allotted time of three weeks. Listening to an audiobook version is absolutely acceptable! The projects I provide are optional, so it's up to the student or to those in charge of a student's education to decide whether or not to engage in activities such as letter writing, music exploration, and art.Assessment
I am happy to provide letter grades when requested. Grades will be a combination of class participation, essays, and comments in the classroom for a general final grade. All essays are read and returned to learners with notes, helpful suggestions, and plenty of encouragement.Grading

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from University of the Pacific
As graduate-level work, Jane Austen's works were a focus for me at The University of Oxford. These books remain at the top of my all-time favorites list, and I've been known to hide in my bedroom closet with my well-worn copy of 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘦 and a chocolate bar . . . just one more chapter! As an author myself, I particularly enjoy studying the works and perspectives of other female authors.
