Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Advanced Level
Students will develop their motor skills through different activities which include a rotating schedule of activities. Students will learn the proper way to Stretch muscles to increase flexibility. Different Workout exercises to develop muscle, students will learn Proper Running Technique through Form Running. Fundamentals of Sport will be taught through different skills, drills for sports such as Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer.
Each week we start class with a good, proper Stretch Routine. 
Fun activities will also be taught using Jump Rope, and Hula Hoop.
This is a 6 week course. Repetitioning teaching I have found is great for student learning. I have 45 years teaching Physical Education from TK-12th Grade and have coaching experience as a Head Coach in Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track. My teaching/coaching style is with positive re-enforcement, which I have found successful. Not all kids are the same and we work on developing all students to achieve a level of confidence in them selves through Physical Education. each week will be a different activity and the order of activity will change in the second six week cycle

Proper Stretch, Exercise, Form Running, Activity
Because this is an On-Going Semester Class students will not be able to "make up" a missed class. Students can review the recorded missed class through outschool after it is posted. Participation is required for this class and listed below are materials needed but not required as I have taught this class with students who did not have equipment. Jump Rope, Hula Hoop can be done using "air Jump, Hula Hoop" Fundamental of Sports can be done without balls as well. The right technique is focused on.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
There is no content in this class as it is a student participation activity class. All students will be learning how to stretch before each class to avoid muscle injury, and taught proper exercise, fundamental of Sport to avoid injury.
