Homework
1-2 hours per week. Students will mostly complete writing assignments during class, but they will be given guidance on how to expand them outside of class.
Letter Grade
Writing assignments can be submitted to the teacher for feedback and a grade upon request.

Class Experience

US Grade 10 - 12
Welcome to an enriching 11th & 12th-grade reading and writing class where students will master all of the core skills from a typical semester. In the first class, we will work on reading comprehension with a specific text. Then in the next class, we will write an essay based on what we read the previous week. The class will follow this format with a total of 2 fiction texts, 2 informational texts, and 4 essays.

Parental Guidance
Some Shakespeare stories have topics of death, ghosts, suicide, young romance, etc. If these topics are brought up in class the teacher will point to how they are used in the story and keep the discussion relevant to the learning materials. Assignments will be shared via Google Slides. You can use the Google Slides with a Google Account or download them as a PDF without an account. Please reach out to the teacher if you need any assistance. Some classes may include collaborating on a Google Doc, but students can do so without logging in, or can use the chat box instead.
