Learning opportunities facilitated to help the child discover the elements of art and principles of design featured in nature. In addition, this program encourages children to explore and develop their creativity and imagination by introducing them to a wide range of natural materials and artistic expression. The Art in Nature Program™ enhances pre- literacy skills by listening and working with language, as well as builds their cognitive, social- emotional and fine motor development.
The Art in Nature Program™ utilizes materials that are readily accessible in the child’s natural environment as well as materials that are sourced locally. Materials can be sourced by art & craft stores and from natural terrains; such as parks, and neighborhood outings. A suggested material list will be provided as well as resources to find materials.
