Class Experience

Printmaking is an artform for discovery. The materials are readily available and generally inexpensive. Printmaking encourages the learner to invent and experiment. In this course, we will focus weekly on various printmaking techniques: using simple and everyday found materials, as well as experimenting with different papers and printing surfaces.

No experience is required- these workshops are designed to introduce children to the artform of printmaking; encouraging creativity, imagination and exploration with every learner.

We will be using non-toxic water-based acrylic paints, printmaking inks, simple rolling pins and a lot of paper.
