I'm an academically certified educator with a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, 20 years of academic teaching experience, and a homeschooling parent to a young Minecrafter. As a neurodivergent individual, I'm dedicated to inclusivity and empowering every learner through academic infusion in Minecraft. I am also Minecraft Education Edition certified.

I'm neurodivergent myself. I also am Master degreed, experienced, and a certified educator, I designed this fun educational course for neurodiverse learners inclusive of dyslexia, autism ASD, 2e, gifted, ADHD, and PDA. Homeschool friendly.
Basic familiarity using own device to navigate Minecraft Bedrock or Education Edition including stacking multiple items into a single inventory square. Interest and ability to follow step-by-step instructions via video lesson instruction.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Minecraft gaming app/software is needed (and not provided) for this class. Either Education Edition or Bedrock Edition (available on Switch, iPad, Fire tablet, mobile devices, Xbox One, Windows 10/11) will work well. Java Edition will not work as it does not have the option to import the chemistry items at this time.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
✓ Minecraft App Required. Education or Minecraft Bedrock Edition needed (not provided). No Java Edition.
✓ No Live Meetings. This is an asynchronous self-paced course with engaging recorded video lessons.
✓ No Shared Gamer Tags. We're not gaming together in a server ensuring a safe and private experience.
✓ Younger or new to Minecraft may enjoy the help of an older sibling or grown-up when 1st starting. 
✓ A familiarity with Minecraft on own device is needed.
✓ Focused on creating fun new game items with elements, rather than formal chemistry instruction.
✓ General Minecraft gameplay may contain cartoon-style violence (no blood or gore).
