The first 3 weeks explore a basic, draft business plan for a real OR imagined business. Weeks 4-10 dive into topics that support a robust business plan like visuals, sustainability, and social media marketing. This is a highly interactive, conversational class that practices critical thinking, problem solving, and adaptability/flexibility. ...
Students will explore business planning, graphic design, public speaking, and other topics - some will be introductory and others will be more in depth.
I've been a small business owner (with several businesses, including vintage clothing sales, handmade jewelry, event planning, and digital art) for over 12 years, and a small business consultant and social media marketing teacher for 6+ years.

Homework will be suggested in between classes, but is optional unless the learner or adult/parent request accountability in advance.Assessments Offered

Nothing is required, but a paper and pen are useful. Any resources posted in the classroom are optional for printing, as we will go over them in class.
If/when topics like outside website and social media marketing are discusses, website will not be linked. Safety will be an underlying theme for all social media marketing discussions.
