In this 15 class course the student will learn how to improve their singing voice through techniques, exercises and vocal music.
Class experience
In this 15 class semester based course the student will learn songs in a variety of different styles as well as vocal techniques in order to improve their singing voice according to their personal goals. There is no required experience and the and the class will be adjusted according to the students current skill level. Students will have the opportunity to perform their songs in front of other private students through enrolling in my other course, “Music Lab” once a month or whenever they...
Students will learn how to use techniques to improve their pitch, breath support, tone or timbre and overall sound to develop a improved singing voice.
I have my Bachelors degree in music with an emphasis in voice and vocal studies. I have over 9 years of teaching, musically directing and performance experience. I am laid back and base my class off of student needs. Everyone is different!
Homework Offered
Students are expected to practice their music and warmups individually outside of class. This is the only way to improve singing as your voice is an instrument that must be played consistently. They may also be assigned worksheets to understand music theory, vocal theory or how anatomy plays a role in singing.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
