Homework

1 hour per week. Learners are required to: 1. Post their worksheets on the classroom page after each lesson, so the teacher can check and make sure they follow the instruction and their work is accurate. 2. Record 10 Vietnamese vocabulary and send the recording to the teacher. It helps the teacher assist and correct each learner's pronunciation.

Class Experience

In this self-paced class, your child will learn 10 Vietnamese words every week. This is the second part of the Vietnamese vocabulary class. Knowledge of Vietnamese, especially writing, is not required for this self-paced class. Learners will have a lot of opportunities to work on their pronunciation during and after class. Furthermore, learners will learn simple sentences in 1-2 lessons in each part of the Vietnamese vocabulary class. It is important to follow the instruction that will be posted on the classroom page each week to maximize learners' results.

Learners will watch a pre-recorded lesson and learn new Vietnamese vocabulary each week. Learners are required to follow the instruction and work on their worksheets in class. Please note that learners can pause the videos anytime they want if they need more time to complete class activities. Links and worksheets will be provided on the classroom page when the class starts.

Learners are required to complete their homework, which allows the teacher to follow each learner's performance. Please check out the "Homework" section for more information.

7 Lessons

over 7 Weeks

Lesson 1:

Fruit

 Learners will learn 10 Vietnamese words regarding fruit. In this lesson, learners will practice the vocabulary by matching the new vocabulary and pictures.

Lesson 2:

Vegetables

 Learners will learn 10 Vietnamese words regarding vegetables. In this lesson, learners will practice the vocabulary by making their own salad bowls.

Lesson 3:

Drinks

 Learners will learn 10 Vietnamese words regarding drinks. In this lesson, learners will have an opportunity to learn at least 2 simple sentences to express their preferences.

Lesson 4:

Dessert

 Learners will learn 10 Vietnamese words regarding dessert. In this lesson, learners will practice the vocabulary by choosing the right Vietnamese words for different types of desserts.
