In this 20 minute video your child will learn how to add and subtract positive and negative numbers in a unique and effective way. I work plenty of examples with detailed explanations. By applying two simple rules your child will be ready to do the 2 assigned worksheets which will be sufficient practice to take the self test provided with each lesson. The solutions to the homework and self test are provided along with detailed instructions on how to grade each particular test.

Lesson 2
Multiplying and Dividing Integers
In this 15 minute video your child will learn how to multiply and divide positive and negative numbers in a unique and effective way. I work plenty of examples with detailed explanations. This class is divided into two parts. By applying two simple rules your child will be ready to do the 2 assigned worksheets which will be sufficient practice to take the self test provided with each lesson. The solutions to the homework and self test are provided.

Lesson 3
Double Signs
In this 14 minute video your child will learn how to apply the concepts learned in lessons 1 and 2. This particular class will help solidify and demystify number operations with negative and positive numbers. I work plenty of examples with detailed explanations. The Distributive Property
In this 13 minute video your child will learn how to apply the concept of the distributive property. Learning how to multiply using parentheses is an essential skill in mastering algebra. The Distributive Property and Collecting Like Terms.

The Rules of Exponents.
In this 19 minute video your child will be reinforcing the skills learned in lessons 1 to 3. ( z^4 ) /( z^2) ( p^3) ^5 etc. Your child will be ready to do 2 assigned worksheets which will be sufficient practice for the self test. Multiplication of Polynomials.
In this 15 minute video your child will expand on the knowledge and skills learned in lesson 8 and continue reinforcement of lessons 1 to 7. Your child will learn to multiply binomials times trinomials. Example : (x + 5) ( x^2 + 5x - 8) Your child will be ready to do 2 assigned worksheets which will be sufficient practice for the self test. Lesson 10
Division of Polynomials.
In this 19 minute video your child will learn to divide polynomials by monomials, this is an extended version of the concepts learned in lesson 6. (rules of exponents). This skill will enhance and reinforce concepts learned. I work plenty of examples with detailed explanations. Your child will be ready to do 2 assigned worksheets which will be sufficient practice for the self test. The solutions to the homework and self test are provided along with detailed instructions on grading the test.
  • The main purpose of this course is for students master the adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing of positive and negative numbers. These concepts are reinforced throughout the course via different application as the course progresses.
