This 4-week introductory course is designed for students new to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Students will learn the fundamentals of both programs, exploring photo editing techniques that range from basic adjustments to using layers, and understanding how the two programs work together. The course is self-paced, with weekly video lessons guiding students through each step of editing. Learners can use their own photos or images provided in the course and will receive personalized feedback from the teacher on their edits. This course emphasizes hands-on learning and provides opportunities for students to share their work in a supportive environment. In this asynchronous course, learners will be introduced to the essentials of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop through weekly video lessons. Each lesson will cover key features of the programs, offering students a chance to explore editing tools, practice using layers, and understand how to manage files from start to finish. Students are encouraged to share their edited photos with the class for feedback, allowing for a collaborative learning experience where peers and the teacher provide suggestions for improvement. While students may need to subscribe to Adobe's software for optimal performance, the course is structured to ensure that even beginners can gain confidence in using these powerful editing tools.
