Class Experience

In this Flex class students will learn how to play an adventure in Dungeons & Dragons. Each week we will talk about different ways to play a successful Dungeons & Dragons adventure. We go over how to make a character and play an adventure. We'll talk about the different types of adventures. Students can share adventures they have played and characters they have created.

I can also schedule a private session of this flex classes if you have 2 or more student interested in taking the class together.

Students will learn how to make a character to play with. We will go over the different parts of a character sheet and how to use the parts during game play.. We will also learn how to fight or talk to monsters. We will learn how to create our own stories as we play. Students will be able to discuss ideas for future adventures and help each other with problem solving in the adventure they are running. Students will work in teams to talk about their characters and back stories. Students will also be able to share puzzle solving skills.

Why a flex class?
* Flexible schedule classes are wonderful for families who have busy schedules or are sometimes unable to commit to a certain day or time.
* Learners from all time zones may participate
* Videos may be paused or re-watched at any time.
* If any questions arise, the instructor is just an email away.

The class offers a series of prerecorded videos that you will have access to, as well as individualized assessments of their work and the opportunity to share their work with fellow learners. Students will be given an assignment every week. Positive comments on other students work is encouraged. Students will use team work to learn skills.

Each week the students will receive a video and assignment.

Each Monday I will post a video with the assignment of the week. Students should have their projects submitted by Friday Night. Teacher will give feedback on Saturday or Sunday.
