Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this hobby and business Self Paced class, students pre-recorded mini video lessons on the following topics - Introductions + exploring how personal skills translate to business - Elements of a business plan Part 1: value proposition and pricing - Elements of a business plan Part 2: ideal customer and marketing - Value proposition and draft business plan instructions - Boundary setting, personal growth and asking for help Students can join at any phase of business or hobby: whether they are completely new to business, have an existing business, have a hobby they'd like to turn into a business, or just want to create a fake business for fun. This class can be useful for exploring problem solving, critical thinking, writing, following homework instructions and getting teacher feedback, building confidence, making money, and more. This Self Paced class includes 17 short videos, assignments, and a mini "Build a Business Plan" workbook created specifically for this class. Learners can ask questions and get feedback.
Learning Goals
Topics covered include: the elements of a business plan, how to explore cost and pricing, how to market your product or service, identifying the unique value proposition for your business, how personal confidence relates to business success, and what parts of your business might need adult assistance.

Parental Guidance
In this course, we will discuss social media platforms as potential tools for marketing products and services. Heavy emphasis is on the learner inviting responsible adults into those spaces to assist and monitor, therefore, adults should anticipate being involved in their learner's exploration of social media marketing, if the learner decides to pursue it.
