In this 10-week course, students will learn all upper and lower case cursive letters, how to connect them and how to write words. We will use worksheets, games and silly activities to make it fun and engaging!

Lesson 1
Lowercase Letters: a, c, d, g, o, q
Students will practice the "wave letters" and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and create silly sentences.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Lowercase Letters: b, e, f, h, k, l
Students will practice the "loop letters" and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and create silly sentences.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Lowercase Letters: m, n, v, w, x, y, z
Students will practice the "hump letters" and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and chalk letters.

Lowercase Letters: i, j, p, r, s, t, u
Students will practice the "castle letters" and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and ghost letters.

Uppercase Letters: A, C, O, U, V, W
Students will practice the similar strokes in uppercase letters and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and window writing.

Uppercase Letters: X, Y, Z, P, R, B
Students will practice the similar strokes in uppercase letters and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and roll a letter.

Uppercase Letters: H, K, N, M
Students will practice the similar strokes in uppercase letters and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and magic writing.

Uppercase Letters: I, J, E, L, Q
Students will practice the similar strokes in uppercase letters and do a few activities from the choice board including: watch a how-to video, rainbow letters, complete a worksheet to make and connect the letters, go on a scavenger hunt and matching game.
 Week 9
Lesson 9
Review
Students will review all upper and lowercase letters through a few activities from the choice board. Students will complete a culminating project where they write a short paragraph with a fun, silly writing prompt where they show off what they learned.
Students will learn all lowercase and uppercase letters in cursive. Students will connect letters in cursive and begin writing words and sentences. 
This class will support many different learning needs such as neurodiverse and ADHD. In this class, students will be provided with a menu for each week. They get to choose which items they want to do based upon their comfort level.
No prior cursive knowledge is required!
Learners will need handwriting paper and a pencil. Other supplies will be optional activities listed in the weekly menu.
