Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
In this semester-long course, students will have a stellar time developing their star-gazing skills by learning about the constellations and the myths and legends behind them. Each week we will go over four new constellations together, discussing the stories (mythological or historical) behind their namings, tips on how to find them, what times of the year they are visible, and key stars and asterisms within their groupings. This class is the perfect starting point for all inquisitive young stargazers!

Please see below for our class curriculum:

Week One:
Andromeda, Aries, Cancer, and Cassiopeia

Week Two:
Centaurus, Draco, Gemini, and Hercules

Week Three:
Hydra, Leo, Libra, and Lupus

Week Four:
Canis Major, Canis Minor, Corvus, and Lynx

Week Five:
Orion, Monoceros, Pegasus, and Perseus

Week Six:
Phoenix, Pisces, Sagittarius, and Scorpius

Week Seven:
Serpens, Taurus, Lyra, and Vela

Week Eight:
