This class will cover learning the sight words "see, look, we, my, here & am". The topic covered will be these sight words along with the letters in each words and sounding them out to help remember the word. The class is structured in a very interactive way where the learner will feel comfortable to participate as they will be given many opportunities to be involved along the way. I will teach this class through demonstrating the word, sounding it out and playing games to help the learners be confident in seeing, saying and recognizing these sight words.
Learning Goals
The students will learn the sight words "see, look, we, my, here & am" through saying them, recognizing the letters in them, and being able to build reading skills as they read them through practise and play. The students will practise communication skills as they participate in the class and engage with other learners. They will build on their memory as they practise seeing the word and remembering it as they play and learn.
