What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
We will go over interview strategies that can apply to any sport but also to real-life conversations. The class will start with a short video about an exciting game, and then we will break down the interviews for about 10-15 minutes before Q&A time. Students will be asked for feedback -- but shy learners can just listen.
Learning Goals
The No. 1 goal is reporting, but I want this to be a class about active listening as well! We hope to get better at asking a successful question.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I love to teach. This year I've taught chess to kindergartners, math to second graders, reading to a fourth-grader, and journalism to college students. (That doesn't include whatever I've taught my own children, but you'll have to ask them that!)
The most rewarding part of teaching is seeing students feel empowered. I love when they aren't sure they can do something and then they do it, and then they do it well.
I have been a journalist for 20+ years and I love that too. Teaching allows me to do both -- to "report" and provide information, perspective and context.
I'm also on the board of the National Diaper Bank Network, so I love to talk about being part of that mission as well!
Thank you,
Eric
