Learning how to read music is a journey, and often feels like it's a secret language or code. This journey involves figuring out what all of the line, dots, swirls, letters, and more mean. This course will focus on the one element of music reading, the treble clef. These are the high notes that are play or sung by musicians. This self-paced course will help your learner understand the staff, where the treble clef sits on the staff, important 'cheater' notes, and note names. This course will also teach both ways of note naming, both the music alphabet and do-re-mi. This self-paced course has videos for each topic, along with a few activities to practice note naming.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn how to read and name notes on the treble clef.
