Class Experience
**This course assumes that students have a basic understanding of note reading for the Grand Staff. If your student is a beginner, or is unsure of their note reading, I suggest first checking out my other course, “Secret Language of Music: The Grand Staff”. We will dive more into the “Secret Language of Music” as students learn about accidentals. Students will learn about sharps, flats, and naturals. Students will gain an understanding of accidentals and the rules of notating them.
I have been a music teacher for over 20 years, both as a private and group teacher. I have taught multiple ages how to read music, and use the skill to further their music learning journey.
To participate in a few Kahoot quizzes, it’s best if students have a 2nd device (phone, tablet, etc.) If that’s not possible, then they can still participate in answering questions, but they just won’t be able to be a part of the Kahoot scores. Kahoot (App or website) Paper and pencil
