Class Experience
Here’s a fun homework assignment that your child can do before or after the class: Laser Beam challenge - http://www.mykidsadventures.com/string-laser-maze/
I will provide the materials for the “interrogation game”. The kids will need these materials to do the science activity: 1) a blender 2) one box of Imperial powdered sugar 3) cocoa powder 4) a spoon 5) a paper plate or a paper towel 6) red food coloring 7) tablespoon 8) pitcher of water
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The “Bailey School Kids book series” might be scary to some children since it involves monsters and mystical creatures (vampires, ghosts, Bigfoot, werewolves, etc). We’ll be using cocoa powder, food coloring and powdered sugar to make the “fake blood” in case your child has food allergies. Parental supervision is required since were using an electrical appliance.
