This class will provide your child with strategies on help with math word problems.

Class Experience

Students will learn strategies to help them attack various word problems. The class will meet twice a week for four weeks. Students will need pencil and paper and will need to copy down the problems before class (which should only take about 10 minutes). I will assess the students knowledge, understanding, and participation by using physical gestures to ensure they are listening etc. This course will prepare your student for state testing, real world situations, and an overall understanding...

I have been in the classroom setting for four years teaching grades 2nd-5th teaching all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education.
