In this class, we cover the entire science for second grade curriculum, aligned with standards, through very interactive lessons. We use Power Point presentations and 3D visuals, with an abundance of examples, while also connecting the concepts to the real life. I am a k-12 science teacher with more than ten years of experience. I have a BA in Biology and have taught multiple science courses: Biology, Physics, Chemistry for both Middle and High School.

Frequency: includedDetails: In order to receive feedback and a grade, learners need to submit their work directly to the teacher.
We will use common household items for the majority of the experiments: like paper plates, popsicle sticks, nylon bags, etc. Families will receive a list at least a week in advance. If learners do not have the materials during a particular experiment they should observe and reproduce the experiment later with family supervision. Occasionally, we will use water and some ingredients that need to be handled with care around electronics. A notification will be sent in these instances.
