CONCLUSSIONS
I am a k-12 science teacher with more than ten years of experience. I have a BA in Biology and have taught multiple science courses: Biology, Physics, Chemistry for both Middle and High School.
Homework
Frequency: 1-2 per week
Feedback: as needed
Details:
Progress Report
Frequency: included
Details: In order to receive feedback and a grade, learners need to submit their work directly to the teacher.
We will use common household items for the majority of the experiments: like paper plates, popsicle sticks, nylon bags, etc. Families will receive a list at least a week in advance. If learners do not have the materials during a particular experiment they should observe and reproduce the experiment later with family supervision. Occasionally, we will use water and some ingredients that need to be handled with care around electronics. A notification will be sent in these instances.
