Description
Class Experience
If your second grader needs practice in reading, reading comprehension, writing skills and spelling practice, this class may be the one for him or her. Join us any week as we introduce a new phonetic sound. Every class will follow the phonetic introduction or review, followed by reading a short passage which focuses on that specific sound and discussion of the story to improve comprehension. Two days per week we will practice writing and spelling beginning with how to write a good sentence...
I have taught in brick and mortar schools for 27 years and three years on Outschool.
Paper and pencil for writing and spelling. A white board will work for spelling practice but paper and pencil will be better for sentence and story writing.
2 hours 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
