Grammar and Punctuation while keeping your child's academic skills sharp with weekly themed units! Each week students will engage in a fun theme that includes: *Grammar Concept *Punctuation Concept *Short Story Each activity page provides meaningful grammar and punctuation practice. Each week students will have a themed topic and explore grammar concepts that are second grade appropriate. We will also dive into all forms of punctuation from sentence structure, commas, and so much more! Students will work with a small group and the teacher to complete the daily activity. The standardized-style assessment pages are an integral part of the series, helping to build your child's confidence with test-question formats. Students will print out their theme sheets prior to each class, students will not work ahead, but work with their classmates and teacher to complete activities. Small assignments after class will also be assigned.
