This course will focus on the concepts elementary students tend to struggle with in math. Here is a basic outline that should give you an idea of the scope and sequence of the lessons: Weeks 1 and 2: - Even and Odd Numbers (quick review) - Adding and Subtracting 1-Digit Numbers - counting up and counting back - understanding and using a number line - solving Addition and Subtraction Word Problems Weeks 3 and 4: Four-Digit Numbers...
I will be using the share screen tool to share math manipulative tools and visuals. I will also provide a link to some printouts that the students can use during the lesson if they wish (although this is not a requirement).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
