US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten

This seasonal, nature-based playdate is the perfect opportunity to introduce your young learner to Outschool! Using seasonal themes of apples, autumn, and the joy of nature, we will celebrate the change in seasons with gratitude and wonder.

In this class, we will:
* play instruments to the steady beat of a song while practicing anticipation and inhibitory control with stopping and starting
* have an all-class playalong with instruments
* learn and sing seasonal songs 
* use voices, bodies,...

I have been teaching music and early childhood for over 25 years. I have both created my own unique curriculum and taught Kindermusik for 10 years. One of my favorite things is to introduce young learners to Outschool and to music.

0Please have the following available to your child for class:
Something to use as a scarf, such as a play silk or play cloth, a lightweight dish towel or baby blanket, or even a grown-up's square scarf
Something that makes shaking noises, such as egg shakers, a rattle, or a clean plastic container filled with small rocks or rice
Any other instruments your child might like to use during playalong time
A doll or stuffed animal friend to cuddle, rock, and dance with

Your learner will be moving around during this class, so please make sure they have proper footwear and plenty of space.
