Using Waldorf-inspired props and music, Ms. Annette will tell (and sing!) the traditional nursery rhyme "The North Wind Doth Blow". Learners are invited to bring a scarf to blow in the wind. We will learn some other songs and rhymes about winter, the wind, and of course the robin, the sparrow, the dormouse, and the children! Ms. Annette will be acting out the story with finger puppets and will share a pattern so you can do the same. This will be an interactive storytelling experience, extended with music, early literacy, and creative dramatics. My teaching style for storytime is conversational and friendly, and I love when children bring their own knowledge and experiences to the process.
