I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. In fact, my earliest memories are of playing school with my sister and stuffed animals, pretending to be the teacher, organizing lessons, and grading imaginary papers. Little did I know, those early days of play would shape my future so tremendously.
Hello learners and families! My name is Ms. Bri and I am so excited that you are here! I can't wait to get to know you, but first let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and am certified to teach students in preschool through 6th grade. While I’ve officially been a teacher for over a decade, I’ve spent my whole life working with children in various roles, each one shaping my approach as an educator. From teaching dance classes to preschoolers and leading children’s birthday parties, to babysitting, tutoring, substitute teaching, and classroom teaching, I’ve had the joy of guiding young minds in countless ways. After becoming a mom myself, I continued tutoring both online and in person, which has given me an even deeper understanding of each child’s unique needs. Teaching isn’t just my profession—it’s a lifelong passion.
My teaching philosophy is all about creating a vibrant, nurturing space where every child feels seen, heard, and inspired to explore. I believe learning should ignite curiosity, encourage self-expression, and build confidence, so each lesson is designed to be fun, dynamic, and full of discovery.
Now, a little bit about me outside the classroom:
- I live with my husband, my daughter, and our 2 cats (Milo and Murphy). We are also expecting a baby boy in March!
- I love spending time at the beach. Summer is my favorite season!
- My favorite food is chocolate... but my favorite healthy food is strawberries.
- Some hobbies of mine include practicing yoga, crafting, and reading.
Families, thank you for considering me to be a part of your child’s learning journey— it is truly an honor. And learners, I can't wait to meet you and start learning together soon!
