In this one-time course, our friends will go on a scavenger hunt to find things around their home to show and tell based on the clues given. They will then share what they found and explain why they chose that object.

Description
Class Experience
Are you ready to have some fun and get moving? In this super fun and fast-paced class, learners will be given a clue to find an object in their home that fits the description. At the beginning of class, we will have introductions and get to know our new friends. Then, we will review the rules for the game. We will also discuss some different things we think of when we hear "Earth Day," like how it is a planet, where we live, colors like blue and green, water and land, etc. I will also...
Students will practice their oral speaking skills and listening skills during the show and tell portion of class. Children will practice their critical thinking skills when deciding on an object to share with the class based on the clues.
Leaners may want to have one of the following items on hand to draw pictures if they do not have a physical item at home to share: 1. pencil/crayons/markers 2. paper 3. dry erase board and marker
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Grown ups may need to help learners find or reach items to show to the class if they happen to be out of reach.
