*Use code SLESSCOOK2 for $2 off your first class with me* Please note that class age is flexible. younger learners may need more assistance with the recipe, but are welcome to join with parental guidance and support as needed! In this interactive cooking class, learners will have fun making a delicious breakfast, brunch, or dessert item: Cinnamon Roll Casserole! The recipe will utilize simple, common ingredients - many of which you may already have on hand, or which are easily attainable and inexpensive. Please find ingredients in the "supplies" section. Fancy kitchen equipment and experience are not necessary. Recipe is learner-friendly without too many complicated ingredients, but younger learners may still need some assistance. The recipe is also be able to be altered to meet dietary restrictions as needed. We will begin this class with an ice-breaker question and introductions. We will briefly discuss our favorite breakfast foods. Then, we will prep, create, and, if you choose, cook our casserole! This recipe can also be saved once prepared to cook the following morning, so you may choose to use it as a make - ahead breakfast option. This is a popular choice for holiday mornings, and takes one more thing off your list! Due to the cook time of this recipe, we will not be tasting the casserole during class, but learners will enjoy the finished product once it is fully cooked after class. The time required to prepare the recipe may vary slightly, depending on the number of learners enrolled and their age/ability and experience level, but I hope to have some sharing time embedded in the class as well. This is a great way to encourage your child to try different foods and flavors they may not otherwise be interested in! They will feel ownership over a recipe they helped to create, and it may just take breakfast off your hands. I will lead the learners through the recipe step by step, completing it along with them so that we are able to troubleshoot and address needs in real-time together. During the course of our time together, learners will also be introduced to various cooking/baking and kitchen safety tips. Helping in the kitchen develops so many different skills for learners, such as: -Direction following -Kitchen and cooking skills and safety -Ingredient knowledge -Fine motor skills -Measuring -Science concepts ...and much more! *Sibling discount available - please message me!* The class is set to 6 students to provide for a small group class, however, if you are looking to sign up as siblings and only see 1 spot left, please message me so I can open a spot for sibling(s).
