Description
Class Experience
Learners have fun with Rozine's curriculum which includes seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design. During this course, students draw full-bodied witches, their outfits, accessories and environments. Students can take this one-time class as an on-going course. Each new session is an opportunity to practicing drawing witches, their outfits, accessories, and environments. Rozine will guide students step by step, stacking basic geometric shapes with pencil until the basic shape of the...
Rozine has illustrated and published nine coloring books. She also taught cartooning classes in Chicago in the 2000's and since moving to Los Angeles in 2012. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging connection amongst others, as well as confident self-expression.
Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper. Pencils and erasers are a must. Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. A Sharpie marker is optional. Students can frame their artwork by stapling or taping it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
