Get ready for a Halloween-themed art adventure with Rozine’s Black Cats and Halloween Bats class! Students will learn to draw adorable black cats and spooky flying bats, with step-by-step guidance on capturing different poses and expressions. They’ll also have the chance to add creative background elements like a full moon, dead trees, jack-o-lanterns, or a graveyard. The choice is theirs! Rozine will teach shading and texturing techniques with colored pencils, and demonstrate how to color neatly, avoiding scribble-style. Students can use their preferred coloring tools, including markers, crayons, and colored pencils. Sharpie markers may be used for outlining with parental approval; otherwise, other black markers or coloring tools are fine. This class offers a supportive environment where kids can develop their imagination and artistic skills. They are encouraged to complete their coloring at home. Enroll today to let your child’s creativity shine this Halloween!
Learning Goals
Drawing and coloring help kids enhance their fine motor skills by refining their hand-eye coordination and precision. As they work on intricate details, they improve their dexterity and control, which are crucial for various everyday tasks and activities.
Engaging in drawing and coloring boosts spatial reasoning abilities by teaching children to understand and manipulate shapes and sizes. This skill is essential for problem-solving and understanding how objects fit together in space.
